Keeping your children safe online should be priority especially if your child has their own PC kept in their rooms. Unfortunately a lot of parents don’t realist just how much of a negative effect this has on their children. I was fortunate enough to have found out the easy way by simply reading up a lot online about the subject and ensuring that I could find the best way to keep my children safe online.

I reckon that the bet way to keep them safe is by using internet filtration software such as Sentry PC. I loved this product the second I installed it! Out of the box it protects my PC to such a level that I can feel the safety! I use it now to time the hours that my children spend on the internet and ensure that I block as many potentially dangerous sites as possible. The bottom line remains that you have to protect your children against the internet threats and ensure that you have open communication to find out if they feel threatened in any way.

Knowing when to question your children and more importantly, how to question your children is key. You will find that they will respond to you when they feel as though you are being friendly rather than bossy and controlling and this is what you want so that you can get the most information from them about their online activities and so that you can better equip them to protect themselves against all kinds of internet dangers.
